	Sudjuradj Suđurađ which is also written as Sudjuradj lies in the east of the island in a sheltered bay. In Suđurađ many holiday boats come from Dubrovnik or from the neighboring islands. The place is small so it is easy to see everything - the houses are closely build along the narrow promenade. For spending the night you could find a small “Konoba” with a nice terrace and they have some private rooms there. The view of Suđurađ is dominated by a military tower which belongs to a rich family from the island. The house was bought some years ago and has been gradually renovated. The owner speaks very fluent German and if you would like to see his house and garden it is possible after making an appointment with him. Starting from 1 July a four-star hotel in Sudurad, which is 15 meters from the sea, will open.
